Fund Development Officers
The Committee supports fund development executives by providing a forum for education and sharing of best practices in all aspects of fund raising and fund development. Members from across the Continuum of Care participate in the Committee, which is specifically focused on fund development for health care organizations.
The Committee’s Continued Focus
Committee discussions include raising funds in an economic downturn; increasing employee participation in active fundraising campaigns; major gifts; corporate sponsorships; the purpose of events related to fund raising; and grateful patient programs. Other topics include legal issues related to fund development and foundations, planned giving, using technology in fund raising; governance and internal campaigns. The Committee also focuses on sharing successful strategies and campaigns and fund development initiatives.
