This new Committee is designed to provide a forum for chief financial officers of long-term care facilities in which to share information and best practices.
The Committee’s Continued Focus
The Committee focuses on financial and reimbursement topics related to long-term care and will consider strategies to improve opportunities for reimbursement from payors. Currently there is a strong focus on the implementation of Medical Assistance Managed Long-Term Care and Medicare’s conversion to a newer skilled nursing facility payment model, the Patient-Driven Payment Model (PDPM).
